from people i met, to stuff i want to get. as of now, the canon eos 5d mk III i am drooling to get is pretty much out of stock everywhere and have to preorder to wait for shipment availability.

sigh, why do i have to waiting every single thing…

i was on my way to the empire state building in the subways, by sheer chance, this guy sat next to me, he’s blind.

this is what he said to the person on the other end of his phone call…

“press 6, read my entire profile, and only after that, get back to me.”
“press 6, definitely read my entire profile, and only after that, get back to me.”
“well, if you read my profile, you would know my name, and my phone number, you would know why i am calling you…”
“well, press 6, read my profile, and only after you have read my eeentiiire profile, get back to me.”
“i am heading to the city now, i am coming to see you, and i am about to go into the tunnel, i don’t know when i am coming out, press 6, read my profile, and only after that, get back to me.”

we then head into the tunnel, just like he said. i was amazed. he’s blind.
soon as we got out of the tunnel, he calls the other person back…

“press 6, read my entire profile, and only after that, get back to me.”
“the reason i am calling you, is , i want to have a meaningful relationship with you, i want to be with you.”
“i want to be with you, not only i want you to bend the rules, i want you to break the rules, break the rules in my favor…”
“if you break the rules, you can help me, forgive me by doing me a favor, break your rules to be with me, my race have nothing to do with it.”

a long pause.

“well, read my entire profile, then you would know who i am.”
“you can’t look for chemistry, chemistry happens. chemistry doesn’t discriminate.”
“you have to let it happen.”

then, as we were arriving close to another tunnel, he said…
“i am about to get into the tunnel again, i will call you back when i get out there.”

he got off at the next stop. he’s blind.

and he is right, love is blind. chemistry doesn’t discriminate. when the time is right, nothing can stop you.

i wish i can be blind.

reflecting on what i did in 2011, this is a work in progress, i have much more to learn, much more to do to advance myself into the pro photography world.

i am about to re-do everything again. time for a new beginning.

phase 1:
start photoblog, i will try daily, if i am able. take photos with my iPhone and post here.
create a flickr photo stream with my iphonographs.

phase 2:
rebuilt my portfolio with actual portfolio quality photos.

phase 3:
start entering contests and finding freelance jobs.

phase 4:
save money and plan to open my business, my own studio.

so i had a ride on a car with a friend…

so i got a chance to catch these raindrops on a car window…

so…

serenity is hard to find,
when the insanity around you is the statistically significant.
i try to find my peace and quiet when i can.

tell me what you think, i am sure i broke some rules of a pure shakespearean sonnet format and whatnot,
but whatever,
i don’t really know the rules…lol…

anyway…ok, here goes…

confession to my sweet angel offend!
hence fearing oh sweet me and all things wrong.
i banished by darling love and dear friend-
embracing grief and sorrow for life’s long.
those know no jealousy know of love less.
i knowing both am now paying all debts:
to my sweet angel for too short a bless;
for wooing her a chance in love say:”let’s!”

for that honest truth persuaded me if:

i am about 3/4 through the unit, and will finish it soon. can’t wait to go shooting for my first assignment!

i feel pretty productive about this….

i snapped this one with my iPhone as i was getting out of a van. just a random shot…

i am going back to school again. or rather…school is coming to me…

a few days ago i enrolled in the 100-year-old new york institute of photography, after a short debate with myself. oh well, the tuition is paid and the course materials are coming to me in snail mail.

so that effectively, and officially, makes me a student again. i am excited.

last night, my webhost was hacked by a hacker goes by the handle tiger-m@te.
apparently he hacked the whole data center and mass defaced 700,000 sites in one shot. perhaps setting a new world record while he’s at it…my website was down for hours…i was amazed.

and i got some really interesting results. i posted 6 out 12 shots. interesting indeed. i can’t wait to try other film stocks.
