ok kay, as promised, there is one of my rhymes, i written this for a girl i once knew…
tell me what you think, i am sure i broke some rules of a pure shakespearean sonnet format and whatnot,
but whatever,
i don’t really know the rules…lol…
anyway…ok, here goes…
confession to my sweet angel offend!
hence fearing oh sweet me and all things wrong.
i banished by darling love and dear friend-
embracing grief and sorrow for life’s long.
those know no jealousy know of love less.
i knowing both am now paying all debts:
to my sweet angel for too short a bless;
for wooing her a chance in love say:”let’s!”
to measure my riches you need not go
from deepest of sea to highest of cliff,
look in your mirror and let truth say so,
for that honest truth persuaded me if:
rhymes be stones, live in mine, your Taj Mahal;
love be disease, i caught yours, worst of all.
